Life Together

The Full Measure - Tim McConnell

Oct. 15

Are you investing who you are and what you have in what God wants to do? Until you do, you are not enjoying the full measure of the blessing of life together on mission for Christ. Paul encouraged the churches he knew to contribute to an offering for the church in Jerusalem which was suffering under persecution and economic depression. (cf. 1 Cor 16; 2 Cor 8-9; Gal 2:10) When we defensively hoard our resources, they end with us and spoil. When we pour them out before the Lord they turn from material resources to eternal Kingdom outcomes. As you prepare your commitment to 2027, bring the full measure (Malachi 3:10) and experience the full measure of life together devoted to Christ.
