It is common for a church to suffer division. Sometimes we allow small things (food) to become wedges and divisions among us. We find again Paul encouraging the church to find and keep unity in Christ. Why is this such a theme in Romans? Peace is not avoiding conflict, but using difference as raw material for discipleship and mutual edification. How can we make every effort to do what leads to peace?
