"Even from far away, Paul leads this church he has never met into the importance of life together. Following Jesus is not a solo sport. As the Body of Christ, we are brought together by the Holy Spirit into a community of faith. False community is a show, but true community grows from small beginnings into something influential and substantial. True community takes commitment to one another. It demands proper honor to leadership along with proper accountability. It asks us to learn forgiveness and reconciliation under the Spirit of Christ. It charges us to stay connected and see difference as raw material for discipleship and formation.
