At First Pres, we have a passion for Youth Ministries. We create opportunities to grow in faith and friendship as we equip students to be disciples of Christ. We seek to mobilize students to live out their faith in their day-to-day lives and understand that they can be light and life to the city now.

Sundays

Community Hour

Middle and High Schoolers gather on Sunday mornings for an opportunity for our leaders and students to connect and get to know each other in our one-hour discipleship experience. After gathering as a large group for a lesson, students split into small groups for fellowship and more intentional discipleship with volunteer small group leaders who help students think about how to apply the lesson to their day-to-day life.

Morning Schedule:

  • 9:30 am – Cedar Doors Open (off Weber Street Parking Lot)
  • 10:00 am – Lesson Starts (High School in Aspen Room, Middle School in Spruce Room)
  • 10:30 am – Small Groups (rooms throughout the Weber Building)
  • 11:00 am – Dismissal 

Wednesdays

At the Table


Middle & High Schoolers gather for At the Table, an opportunity for students to learn and grow through interactive Bible studies. Students start together with a game before splitting for a meal and Bible study.

Schedule

  • 5:00 pm – Optional Jam Session for students who already know how to play an instrument to use their gifts to glorify God in worship ministry. 
  • 6:00 pm – Game Time
  • 6:30 pm – Dinner
  • 7:00 pm – Bible Study
  • 8:00 – Dismissal
