40 Days of Prayer

An invitation to the practice of prayer & fasting

As we prepare our hearts for Pentecost, we invite you to 40 Days in a Spirit of Prayer—a journey of prayer, fasting, and spiritual renewal. From April 15 to May 24, we will come together as a church family to seek God’s presence, intercede for our city, and deepen our faith.

This season of prayer culminates with 24 hours of continuous prayer leading up to Pentecost Sunday, May 24, where we will form a Circle of Prayer around the church—symbolizing our unity and dependence on the Holy Spirit.

Join us in prayer and take part in a movement of faith leading to transformation.

John Goodale

We are delighted to extend an invitation to a very special celebration honoring our dear friend, Rev. John Goodale, and his wife, Deborah, as he embarks on the exciting journey of retirement. As we reflect on John's remarkable 31 years of devoted service to First Pres, we are filled with gratitude for the many ways he has touched the lives of our congregation.

We will be honoring him with a service in the sanctuary starting at 1 pm on April 18, 2026, followed by a reception in the Worship Center to fellowship with each other.
